Chelsea Handler knows many fans recognize her as the former host of Chelsea Lately, but she hopes all of that is about to change.

The comedian and author has partnered with Netflix for a new talk show that will launch in 2016, but first Handler is releasing the documentary series Chelsea Does on the streaming service Jan. 23.

“What I am doing for Netflix is vastly different from what I did on E!,” Handler told PEOPLE last month. “I am using my brain and working with great directors and producers. I am not being outrageous. I am going to give viewers a younger, cooler 60 Minutes.”

In a preview trailer debuting exclusively on PEOPLE, Handler can be seen traveling the globe to chat with recognizable faces like Willie Nelson, Khloé Kardashian and Rev. Al Sharpton about topics ranging from drugs to technology to racism. She even tries on a sparkly, pink wedding dress while delving into the subject of marriage!

It was announced Monday that the documentaries will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival just hours before the four-part series becomes available on Netflix.
