Chelsea Handler wants to understand how things work. So, the comedian hilariously hit up Silicon Valley.

In a trailer for her upcoming, four-part Netflix documentary series, Chelsea Does, the comedian heads to the California start-up capital to delve into all things tech.

“My whole reason for doing, like, a documentary on tech is because I don’t know anything about it and it makes me so frustrated I want to throw s— all the time,” Handler says in the one-minute teaser released Tuesday.

The former Chelsea Lately hosts tackles virtual reality, a hoverboard, smartphones and an interrupting robot.

Amid her sleuthing, the 40-year-old finds time to share a few drinks – and jokes – with Khloé Kardashian and Leah Remini.

“Our society is so caught up on, like, getting validation,” Kardashian says of social media.

“I wonder whose family that came from,” Handler cracks.

In the upcoming series, Handler travels the globe, exploring topics ranging from marriage and racism to Silicon Valley and drugs.

“What I am doing for Netflix is vastly different from what I did on E!, and I am very happy with my work,” Handler told PEOPLE in November. “I am using my brain and working with great directors and producers. I am not being outrageous. I am going to give viewers a younger, cooler 60 Minutes.

Chelsea Does premieres on Netflix on Jan 23.
