Looking For a New Show to Binge? Here's What the Stars Recommend
THIS IS US
Don't worry, you're definitely not the only person sobbing in front of your television every week: John Mayer discovered This Is Us over Thanksgiving, and wasted no time in tweeting about his newest obsession. "Just saw the first episode of 'This is Us' and I'm hooked. Cryin' and hooked," he wrote. "Not even wiping away tears for the next episodes. Just gonna let the first ones create tracks for a more even, efficient flow." His love of the show even got the attention of star Mandy Moore, who replied that she was "glad you're digging it." (Also a new fan of the show? Abigail Breslin, who tweeted that she "already developed 80 new unrealistic expectations for relationships," after watching the first few minutes.)
GRACE AND FRANKIE
You're not the only one glued to your TV on Thursday nights! First Lady Michelle Obama is such a huge fan of Scandal that when she met star Bellamy Young, she asked her about a major plot point before even introducing herself. And when Lupita Nyong'o attended the 2014 Golden Globes, she made sure to tell Kerry Washington how much she loved the show, and checked an item off of her bucket list in the process.
GAME OF THRONES
Channing Tatum doesn't just love Game of Thrones, he lives it. "Channing f---ing Tatum came up to me, and his stunning missus, Jenna Dewan," star Emilia Clarke told Harper's Bazaar. "And they said, 'We call each other 'moon of my life' and 'my sun and stars' and all that." Lea Michele hasn't given her partner a Westeros-inspired nickname (yet), but she has admitted that she's "so obsessed" with the show. Also obsessed? Ed Sheeran, who flipped out when he was given Jon Snow's sword on a radio show.
Andrew Garfield revealed that he watches the reality juggernaut, telling Total Film, "It's the greatest show on TV." He's not alone in his love for the show, either – Taye Diggs has often Tweeted about his Bachelor habit, including one instance in which he watched three full hours in one sitting. And you thought you were addicted.
KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS
She might be an Oscar winner, but Jennifer Lawrence was the one left starstuck when she reportedly ran into the first family of reality TV in a New York hotel. "We said, 'Hi' and walked into the elevator and as the doors were closing, she screamed across the lobby, 'I love your show!'" Kim Kardashian West told the U.K.'s Sun newspaper. "We were laughing so hard."
ANYTHING ON THE FOOD NETWORK
Kristen Stewart, a self-proclaimed "Food Network dork," was left stammering and stuttering when she saw one its stars, Alton Brown, at a hotel. "One of my best friends is my publicist, we spend a lot of time together, I've known her for years and years, and she looks at my face and is like 'What is wrong with you?'" Stewart shared on Live with Kelly and Michael. "I was just like, 'Uh, he's a really big chef on the Food Network.'" Now she knows how Twilight fans feel!
THE REAL HOUSEWIVES FRANCHISE
"I come home from trying to pretend to know about astronomy and physics all day and turn on The Real Housewives," Eddie Redmayne admitted to Jennifer Lawrence in Interview magazine. "I've been a closet lover of faux-reality TV since The Hills. It's bad." The stars bonded over their love of The HIlls, and Lawrence chimed in about her run-in with RHOBH star Lisa Vanderpump, too.
