Don't fight the feeling, you know you want to have a good time
Time to dust off the floppy hat, Blossom is making a comeback.
The Russo family recently reunited, nearly 20 years after the show went off the air, to celebrate Blossom‘s return to the small screen. Starting July 7, reruns of the ’90s show – chock-full of dated sartorial splendor – will air on The Hub Network. Costars Mayim Bialik, Joey Lawrence, Michael Stoyanov and PEOPLE.com blogger Jenna von Oy gathered together for a photo shoot to help promote the show’s resurrection, even taking a few selfies.
The sitcom, which ran for five seasons, told the story of Blossom (Bialik) and her family trying to adjust to their mother’s sudden departure. Lawrence and Stoyanov played the roles of Blossom’s brothers, while von Oy portrayed the lead’s fast-talking bestie, Six. Perhaps most importantl, this is the show that gave us Lawrence’s signature catchphrase: “Whoa!”
Excited about being together again, the cast jumped on Twitter to share moments from their reunion. Lawrence posted that it felt “like no time has passed,” while Bialik simply-stated “we are adorable.”
Yep, the Russo gang’s still got it. Sadly, there are no reports of the cast breaking out any classic Blossom dance moves.
