A daughter of Hollywood royalty – and intergalactic royalty, too – is getting set for her television debut.

Billie Lourd, the daughter of Carrie Fisher and CAA talent agent Bryan Lourd, has been cast in Ryan Murphy's upcoming Fox horror comedy series Scream Queens, reports Deadline.com.

The series – executive produced by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan and Dante Di Loreto of American Horror Story and Glee – will begin shooting in the spring and premiere in the fall on Fox.

Meanwhile, Lourd is also believed to be playing the younger version of Fisher's Princess Leia in flashbacks in the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens, due in theaters in December.
