"I think for the most part I had great moments with everybody," Gebbia tells PEOPLE of the cast, excluding Kyle Richards
Here are five things to know about Carlton Gebbia, who tells PEOPLE her reality experience has been “a great journey for myself to take”:
1. She gets along with pretty much the entire cast – except Kyle Richards
Although becoming a Housewife “sprung to life” when Gebbia’s husband – a member of the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce – brought her to a party at Richards’s house, the two women are not chummy.
When asked who she clashed with this season, she said simply with a laugh: “Well, she’s directly to my left,” referring to Richards who stood next to her on the carpet at the show’s premiere party. “I [wouldn’t stand next to her] when we were taking photos.”
When it comes to fellow new Housewife Joyce Giraud – a philanthropist and star of NBC’s Siberia – Gebbia says, “Joyce and I had our moments, but we’re all good.” For Giraud’s part, a source tells PEOPLE, “They get along well. Being newbies on the show, they’ve really brought out each other’s inner girl power.”
2. Yes, she really does practice witchcraft
“My ancestry is Celtic, which means we’re from all over England,” Gebbia explains. “But my grandmother was a Pagan who practiced witchcraft. I’m Pagan, but under the umbrella of Paganism, Wicca is part of one of the religions. I’m a solitary practitioner, which means I don’t belong to a group or a coven. I have taken traditions from traditional witchcraft, so it’s more of a personal faith.”
Gebbia – who says up until the show, she’s “been very quiet and protective over what I believe in just because there’s ignorance in people” – didn’t reveal if she casted a spell on nemesis Richards, but the veteran Housewife recently teased that Gebbia may have done just that. 3. She enjoys smooching the same sex
In the trailer to the season, Gebbia is seen swapping spit with Brandi Glanville, but as she puts it, “It’s not the first time I’ve kissed a girl and it certainly won’t be the last. Brandi and I got along because we both have that wicked sense of being.”
4. You’ll see her in some dramatic situations
“There have certainly been some ups and bloody downs, but I don’t have any regrets,” she says. “I certainly am not surprised by some peoples’ personalities. Some people are very predictable. But I think it was a great journey for myself to take.”
5. Above all else, family comes first
“You’ll see me as a mom and as a wife and that’s what’s most important to me,” she says. But nevertheless, she points out, “[You’ll see] my husband married a wild girl.”
