Entertainment TV Candace Cameron Bure Reveals Why She Left 'The View ' After Two Seasons "I've enjoyed the experience so much," Cameron Bure tells PEOPLE Now By Brittany King Updated on December 9, 2016 11:13 AM Share Tweet Pin Email Candace Cameron Bure is leaving The View, but in her defense, she does have a long commute! Stopping by PEOPLE Now, the Fuller House star opened up about her shocking announcement on Thursday, where she told The View audience that she’s leaving the show. “Honestly, it’s the travel,” Cameron Bure, 40, says. “I have traveled coast to coast every single week so I could be at home on the weekends with my family, and then back to work in New York during the week.” “I’ve enjoyed the experience so much,” she adds. “I really grew and learned a lot from the show, but I’m happy to be able to spend more time in LA and do more of my full-time jobs there.” Addressing her departure on The View Thursday, Cameron Bure admitted that she tried to be “superwoman” and juggle the hectic schedule, but ultimately it became too much on her — including husband of 20 years Valeri Bure, 42, and their three children: daughter Natasha, 18, and sons Lev, 16, and Maksim, 14. “It wasn’t an easy decision, but before I started The View, I had already had my commitments to Fuller House and my work with the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries,” she told the audience. “And because of the success of those, my commitments have become even greater with those shows.” “It’s a lot,” Cameron Bure added. “I’ve tried to be superwoman and I’m going to not try anymore.” The View airs weekdays (11 a.m. ET) on ABC.
