Candis Cayne has long been a voice for the transgender community, but now the actress is making sure LGBT people around the globe will have a voice – and a community – through the new social media platform MOOVZ. “I think it is great that there is an app that includes the LGBTQ community and provides a safe place to go and communicate with each other,” Cayne tells PEOPLE exclusively. The former Dirty Sexy Money actress will serve as the new global creative director for MOOVZ, which is touted as “the fastest growing online LGBT community.” RELATED VIDEO: Top 3 I Am Cait Moments You May Have Missed! “It has been so important for me to see the T represented so prominently,” says Cayne, who befriended Caitlyn Jenner as the Olympian began her public transition. “There are not a lot of apps that girls like me can go to and feel like we are a part of the community, so I’m so glad we have a place for that now.” As for Jenner, Cayne says she’s been happy to help to be a part of her E! docuseries, I Am Cait. “It’s been an amazing experience being a part of the show and getting to know Cait and helping her along with everything she’s been going through,” she says.
