Caitlyn Jenner Meets Hillary Clinton on I Am Cait After Calling Her a 'Political Hack'
The reality star runs into Clinton in a hotel lobby in Iowa
They finally meet!
In the scene, Jenner, 66, is with her pals at a hotel lobby in Iowa when Clinton, 68, walks through.
“Oh my gosh! Good to see you,” Clinton says while the two shake hands. “What are you doing here? Did you come for the debate?”
“Of course we did,” replies Jenner, before turning around to introduce her friends. “These are all my girls. We’re on the road dealing with trans issues across America.”
“How fun is that!” Clinton says. “That’s great. I have to tell you, what’s happening around the world deserves your attention. Anything you can do help!”
Jenner agrees, saying they are “trying to figure out a way to do that.”

“With Hillary Clinton, we were all so starstruck – but Caitlyn was too,” Jenner’s friend Zackary Drucker says in a confessional. “Even though she kind of wanted to deny it, it was so palpable to me – I was like, ‘Oh she’s loving this, meeting a presidential frontrunner.’ ”
Jenner’s stance on politics is being explored on this season of her docu-series – in a previous episode, the lifelong Republican suggested Donald Trump “would be very good for women’s issues” and said she would “never, ever, ever vote for Hillary” – much to the shock of her fellow transgender advocates.
“We’re done. If Hillary becomes president, the country is over,” Jenner said in the scene, calling the former first lady, senator and secretary of state a “liar” and “political hack.”
Since the episode aired, the former Olympian has said she’s more open to hearing about Clinton’s platform, captioning her Instagram with the hashtags “#learningfrommygirls” and “#willingtolisten.”
“It was actually very nice to meet Hillary,” Jenner said during a radio interview this week. “It was kind of a chance meeting and not a big sit down formal meeting and actually she was very nice, she was just great. Candis [Cayne], who adores her, and some of the other girls on the bus adore her. … But obviously, I made my point and I kind of got ganged up on in the first two episodes.”
