Caitlyn Jenner can definitely fangirl.

The reality star, 65, did just that when she met Boy George, an icon in the LGBTQ community, during a backstage meet-and-greet for one of the British singer’s concerts.

In a sneak peek at Sunday’s episode of I Am Cait released by E!, Jenner – who got a standing ovation when she announced the singer onstage – isn’t shy about her own admiration for George.

“I remember you back in the ’80s, and I had obviously all my issues and this and that, and obviously I followed you,” Jenner gushes to George with her hands on his shoulders. “And I’m so glad to see you back and be here tonight and celebrate that.”

“Do you know what it is, what I think is that you – like you’re getting a little bit older, you kind of operate from a different level of consciousness,” George replies. “You know, you have this wonderful opportunity to do so much good. When I was 19 I was so full of my self-importance. I can’t say that I was leading a political thing, it was just me being myself, which in itself is quite powerful.”

“Absolutely, how lucky we are,” Jenner says.

Jenner is joined by several of her pals, including her close friend Candis Cayne, who has been by her side for most of her transition.

“I think you’re going to get a standing ovation,” George says backstage to Jenner, whom he had asked to introduce him to the crowd. “I’d be very surprised if they don’t stand up and I’ll be very disappointed if they don’t.”

And the concertgoers certainly deliver, cheering for the former Olympian when she appears on stage.

“We need to celebrate the kinds of changes that are happening,” George told the crowd, according to Entertainment Tonight.
