Caitlyn Jenner is sending her love to Kim Kardasian West.

After the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was held at gunpoint early Monday morning in her Paris hotel room after five masked men dressed as police officers gagged, bound and robbed her of $10 million in jewelry, Jenner is voicing her support.

“Love my girl!,” the former I Am Cait star wrote on Instagram Tuesday. “After hearing the full story, I’m so thankful she’s okay. It’s a reminder for us all to be careful in the uncertainty of this world.”

Jenner is the first person among Kardashian West’s family to post anything on social media regarding the scary ordeal.

After the robbers left with “all her jewelry,” Kardashian West “broke out of her bindings and got out,” according to E! News. “She begged for them to let her live and [said] she has babies at home. Then they wrapped her mouth in tape and put her in the bathtub,” a source told E! “She thought they were for sure going to kill her.”

Kardashian West left Paris hours after the life-threatening scenario and returned to New York City, where she was greeted by her husband Kanye West and reunited with her children. A source close to the family told PEOPLE after the incident that Kardashian West was “very upset and couldn’t wait to leave Paris. She gave a statement to the police and left right after. She got robbed of her jewelry but doesn’t care. She is just happy to be alive.”

“She has never been in a more frightening situation. She still can’t believe it happened,” the source added.

Because of the severity of the situation, the Kardashian-Jenner family “is cutting down on all public appearances for the time being.”

“This scared everyone,” a source told PEOPLE. “They’re not taking chances …. It was a really scary situation for the entire family and it’s just not worth it to put themselves out there unnecessarily right now.”
