'Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce' : Kendall Jenner Breaks Down After Bruce Tells Her His Secret (VIDEO)

"He's the most amazing person I know," says a tearful Kendall in a sneak peek at the two-part special

When Kendall Jenner heard from her father that he would be transitioning into a woman, she had to grab the tissues.

However, as seen in a sneak peek at Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce, it doesn’t appear as if she was angry or upset – simply overwhelmed.

“He’s the most amazing person I know,” says a tearful Kendall, 19, to KUWTK cameras. “I couldn’t ask for a better dad,” she continues over home video footage of herself as a child with her father.

“He taught me how to ride a bike and be the tomboy that I am,” she shares, adding that despite their school being 45 minutes away from home “he would drive us to school and he would be the first one in line to pick us up.”

In another look at the two-part special, Bruce’s ex-wife, Kris, says that she has “memories” of a life with Bruce that “sometimes feels like it didn’t exist.”

As a source told PEOPLE in April following Bruce’s 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer, “The whole transition was much harder for the Kardashian kids and Kylie and Kendall. It was hard to grasp. And there was a lot of lying to the kids over the years on Bruce’s part, even as close as they were. It’s going to take some time for the kids to get used to it all.”

Added the source: “It’s been a process for everyone. Some of the kids are more comfortable than others,” the close family source tells PEOPLE. “But in the end he is, and will continue to be, a better father, better person and human being.”
