Bruce Jenner was photographed on a post-Easter hike Monday morning in Malibu wearing a hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses and red nail polish.

The photos of an on-the-move Jenner – who continues his transition from male to female – come just after ABC announced Monday that Diane Sawyer‘s eagerly anticipated sit-down with the 65-year-old Olympic gold medalist for Bruce Jenner – The Interview, which will air April 24 at 9 p.m. ET.

Sawyer interviewed Jenner when his decision to become a woman became public.

“Bruce’s primary goal is to bring awareness to this issue in order to help others [in the transgender community],” a source told PEOPLE, adding that Jenner “wants this to be taken seriously so that [his situation] can have the most positive impact on society’s perception of the transgender community.”
