Sunday's Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce special revealed just how far along Bruce Jenner is in his transition from male to female – and daughters Kendall Jenner and Khloé Kardashian were just as surprised as viewers. When asked by Khloé, 30, "Are you planning on not being Bruce any time soon?" Jenner answered, "That's quite possible, yeah." "That's something we all need to know," insisted Kendall, 19, early in the special, which taped this "many months ago," according to an introductory message from Jenner himself. "You definitely withhold information," Khloé told Bruce, adding to cameras, "We were never told that he was going to fully transition and become a woman" (a sentiment later confirmed by Khloé's older sisters Kim, 34, and Kourtney, 36). When Bruce, 65, revealed that his transition would occur "probably in the spring," his daughters were shocked. Asked Khloé, "So Bruce is going to be gone within the next 4-5 months?" While Khloé continued to assert her support, she told the stepfather who'd raised her since she was 4 years old: "I don't think it's fair that you don't tell us how close this is in the near future. We're still your kids! I don't care how old I am." She added, "Don't you think we're scared? We all have emotions, and I'm not going to feel like I can't be honest with you about my emotions because that's not fair to us." She told cameras that the reality of Bruce's transition is "just something that will take time in digesting and getting used to." Bruce then admitted to his crying daughters: "Sometimes it's easier to talk to people that you don't know about this situation than it is to your kids. I love you, and I'm not going anywhere," he said. "I never said Bruce is going to be gone – you guys said it. I'm not going anywhere." The next day, Bruce told Kim, "I'm so tired of lying … about my life, about who I am, about everything. After a while, it just kind of wears your ass out." Kim counseled Bruce on delivering any further news he might have for his family: "When you talk to Mom and the girls, you have to say that, you can't hesitate. Hesitating four seconds makes us feel like you're lying when you already know the answer. You've probably already made the appointment." Bruce said quietly, "Well, yeah," after he'd already admitted to Kim that "I see myself in the future [as a woman]." As the reality sunk in, she couldn't hold back her surprise: "You said in the future. We though that meant, like, five years. This is happening, like, this year?" Bruce nodded. Later, during a conversation with all his girls (except oldest daughter Cassandra), things got heated again as Khloé once more brought up the idea that Bruce hadn't been fully honest with his family. He fired back, "I'm not lying, Khloé – I just didn't tell you." Ultimately, it was Kim who eased tensions, telling Bruce, "I think we all want to be on the same page with you, we all want to support you."
