Bruce Jenner has shared his story with the world. And on Sunday, viewers will learn how the Olympian’s family is dealing with the news that he is transitioning from male to female.

“I just don’t like when people say Bruce is gonna be gone,” Kendall Jenner, 19, says through tears in a preview of Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce.

“I’m not going anywhere,” Bruce assures his daughter.

The sneak peek features old footage from family videos of the Kardashians and Jenners growing up as the reality stars express their hopes and fears about Bruce’s journey in voiceovers.

“I do want to meet ‘her,’ when he is ready,” Bruce’s youngest child, Kylie Jenner, 17, says of her father’s female identity. “When we’re both ready.”

Ex-wife Kris Jenner also describes how she met Bruce, 65, on a blind date: “It was kind of love at first sight.”

Part 1 of KUWTK: About Bruce airs May 17 at 9 p.m. ET on E! Part 2 airs May 18 at the same time.
