Heather Dubrow is demanding answers.
The actress and her Real Housewives of Orange County costars have been vindicated after Vicki Gunvalson‘s ex Brooks Ayers admitted Wednesday to faking medical records “proving” he has cancer – a claim the ladies doubted all season.
Gunvalson, 53, has said she’s “shocked” by his lies – but Dubrow, 46, isn’t convinced.
“Brooks has proven to be a con man. Tamra [Judge] has said it for years. I didn’t believe it until this year, now I see it,” she tells E!’s Catt Sadler. “But the question is now Vicki’s involvement in it, and when did she know?”
“He doesn’t affect us, he is who he is, he’s gone from all of our lives, I’m happy to say,” she adds. “But Vicki is in our lives, and when did she know?”
Even before Ayers’ bombshell, Dubrow wasn’t on good terms with Gunvalson, insisting she had “no interest in filming with her” next season.
Gunvalson’s brother Bill Steinmetz also spoke to E! about the scandal, saying he’s “astonished” at Ayers’ deception.
“I had no reason to believe he didn’t have cancer. I believe my sister and whatever she told me, I believed it,” he said. “I was the only one who had his back during the duration of the relationship because Vicki was telling me all these good things about him. Now I think I’ve been conned.”
Dubrow’s full interview airs Thursday at 7 p.m. ET on E!
