It sounds like Corbin Bleu is the frontrunner on Dancing with the Stars this season – at least according to one of his competitors.

“I’m really watching out for Corbin,” Brant Daugherty, 28, recently told PEOPLE mid-rehearsal. “I think he’s going to give us a definite run for our money this season.”

The Pretty Little Liars actor’s partner Peta Murgatroyd noted that Bleu has a lot of previous dancing experience, but she’s got her eye on Amber Riley.

“She’s amazing,” Murgatroyd gushes. “She’s got so much energy. The show is about personality and what you can bring to the dance.”

When it comes to his own level, Daugherty explains, “I’ve been a performer for a long time, but I really don’t have any dancing experience. I did some of the musicals in high school and I was in the glee club for a little while just to try and gain some skills. I was not good at it.”
