During The Voice‘s live play-offs on Monday night, the members of Team Blake and Team Adam all stepped up their game with impressive solo performances – but it will be up to fans to vote for who should advance.

Monday’s show kicked off with a group performance of Boston’s “Peace of Mind” before the 10 individuals took the stage. And coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton couldn’t be more proud of their teams.

Team Adam’s Joselyn Rivera sang Demi Lovato‘s “Give Your Heart a Break” that left Levine overjoyed. “I knew I wanted you on my team,” he said afterward.

But it was Amanda Brown who really stole the show. Her rocking rendition of Aerosmith’s “Dream On,” coupled with her killer falsetto, won over not just Levine and Shelton, but coaches Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green.

While Brown’s performance stunned, the members of Team Blake had an equally successful night.

Julio Cesar Castillo took a chance by singing Vicente Fernéndez’s “El Rey” – a Mariachi song in Spanish. But to the delight of multiple Country Music Association Award winner Shelton, Castillo was able to connect with the audience despite the language barrier.

However, it was Terry McDermott who got the ultimate compliment from his coach after his rendition of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing.”

“When God was passing out the ability to rock, he gave Terry just a little bit more,” Shelton said, beaming.

Up next, on Wednesday night, the contestants from Team Christina and Team Cee Lo will compete, and all the results will be announced on Thursday.
