Zut alors!

On Wednesday’s episode of black-ish, we meet Zoey’s new boyfriend.

Also named Andre, like her father (Anthony Anderson), this Andre (Julian De La Celle) is from Marseilles and has managed to captivate the ladies of the Johnson household with his incredible charm – much to the chagrin of the Johnson boys.

As we learn in an exclusive clip from “Andre from Marseille,” French Andre’s father fixed cleft palates in Guatemala for Doctors Without Borders, and Andre dug wells: “Oui. We were trying to find zee clean water for zee orphans.”

“Zorphans?” Andre Jr. (Marcus Scribner) mocks, trying to undermine Zoey’s (Yara Shahidi) love interest. “What are zorphans?”

French Andre answers, “Children whose parents have died from zee AIDS?”

Point, French Andre.

Then, in the coup de grâce, Zoey’s new boyfriend performs some sleight of hand to the delight of Zoey, Rainbow (Tracee Ellis Ross) and Diane (Marsai Martin).

Sorry, patriarch Andre, even you’re no match for an “all-out charm offensive” from a handsome French teenager.

Black-ish airs Wednesdays (9:30 p.m. ET) on ABC.
