Police Respond to Fight During Blac Chyna's Hawaiian Vacation After She Left Daughter Dream Behind
It’s trouble in paradise for Blac Chyna.
PEOPLE confirms that officers and paramedics responded to the Ritz-Carlton Residences in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Monday morning after police were called following a fight between Chyna, 30, and artist Kid Buu in a hotel suite.
“Someone from their group called 911. Hotel security escorted police officers and paramedics to a suite, where Blac Chyna was with a group of people,” the source says.
“It was more of a ‘he said, she said’ situation. They both had complaints to the police, but in the end no one was arrested or taken to the hospital,” the source shares.
According to the source, Chyna and Kid Buu, 30, “were both intoxicated.”
“Again, this is not a typical incident at the hotel,” says the source. “In fact, this behavior is 100% unacceptable.”
The Honolulu Police Department confirmed that an incident is currently under investigation.
“Shortly before 9 a.m. today, a female visitor staying in Waikiki reported being assaulted by a male acquaintance. The victim reported that she and the suspect had been involved in an argument several hours earlier, and the argument had escalated to a physical confrontation,” a media liaison officer said in a statement to PEOPLE. “The male left the area after the confrontation and has not been located.”
“This incident has been classified as abuse of a household member,” the statement continued. “The investigation is continuing, and no further information is being released at this time.”
PEOPLE is out to Chyna’s attorney for comment.
In a statement to PEOPLE, the Ritz-Carlton Residences’ director of public relations said, “As a matter of privacy, we are unable to comment.”
TMZ first reported the news.
Before the incident, Kid Buu shared multiple racy videos — which have since been deleted — on his Instagram Story of Chyna, including one of her twerking on him at the pool.
In a video shared on her Instagram Story on Sunday, a sunkissed Chyna said “aloha” to her followers and said “don’t let nobody bring you down.”
“Aloha everybody! I’m sending positive vibes and love to everybody and I’m hoping that everybody’s having a great year. And if you’re not, guess what? You’re gonna have a great year and don’t let nobody bring you down,” Chyna said while sitting in the sunlight.
“Stay positive. Breathe in, breathe out, meditation is key,” she continued, and signed off with an air kiss, “And um, you’re beautiful.”
On Monday, she posted an Instagram Story video of herself walking — tagged in Honolulu — on the way to “spa time.”
“Trolling is at an all-time high people, so get used to it,” she said with a giggle. “Don’t believe all the hype, people. Love you guys.”
Also on Monday, a source told PEOPLE that Chyna and her friends (including Kid Buu) seemed to have made a big — and “inappropriate” — splash during their island vacation at the hotel.
“Blac Chyna spent Sunday with a group of friends. They hung out by the pool, partied and were loud. They are not the typical hotel guests,” the source said.
“They were definitely being inappropriate in several ways. The girls were showing nipples, they were twerking and just being obnoxious. Hotel management had complaints, because there were families with kids that didn’t like the way they behaved,” said the source. “You would never think Chyna is a mom by the way she behaved.”
The fight with Kid Buu comes amid ongoing drama with ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian.
Over the weekend, Chyna was supposed to have custody of the former couple’s 2-year-old daughter Dream Renée, TMZ reports. Kardashian reportedly wasn’t able to get in touch with Chyna to drop off their little girl on Saturday — and now, the father of one isn’t happy about it.
“Chyna planned on having Dream stay with a nanny in L.A. while she was in Hawaii. Rob is mad because if either parent is out of town, the other parent is supposed to have the option to keep Dream longer,” an insider told PEOPLE of Kardashian, 31, who shares joint custody of Dream with Chyna.
“Rob doesn’t want Dream to stay alone with a nanny while Chyna parties in Hawaii. This is what he is mad about,” said the insider. “She needs to tell him when she won’t be in L.A. so Rob can keep Dream longer. Rob is getting his lawyer involved.”
The insider added, “This situation’s not in Dream’s best interest.”
