Storage Wars' Barry Weiss in ICU with 'Serious Chest Trauma' After Motorcycle Crash: Report
Barry Weiss reportedly suffered multiple injuries following a motorcycle accident
Barry Weiss has reportedly been hospitalized following a motorcycle crash in California earlier this week.
According to the outlet, both Weiss and his friend were injured after running into the back of a car that was pulling out of a parking space.
Following the accident, Weiss was transported to the ICU at a local hospital, where he currently remains, according to TMZ. The A&E star is reportedly in stable condition but suffered broken bones and other internal injuries.
A representative from the Los Angeles Police Department did not have any additional information about the accident.
A&E did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
Addressing the incident on Thursday, Weiss’ friend, who was involved in the crash, shared a photo of himself from the hospital and gave an update on their health.
“Not a good day at the office, a serious crash today with my friend Barry Weiss when a car pulled out directly in front of us and took our road away. I got lucky, only a broken knee, elbow and wrist, Barry is much worse and has serious chest and leg trauma,” he wrote, asking his followers to “please send your prayers to Barry.”
He went on to share a photograph taken at the scene of the crash.
“After the black SUV (left corner) stopped and crossed our paths, this is the split second after, the parked car stopped me quickly 👎 #bummer #thatsucks #ohno #carssuck,” he wrote.
Weiss appeared on Storage Wars from seasons 1-4. He then went on to star in spinoff series Storage Wars: Barry Strikes Back, which ran for one season.
