It’s five versus one when the Backstreet Boys take on Charlie Puth to determine which generation of pop stars reigns supreme.

In an exclusive clip of TBS’s Drop the Mic rapcompetition, the ’90s boy band spits its game against the “Attention” singer, 25. Puth insults the quintet’s dad bods, their audience of moms and A.J. McLean’s guyliner, while the Boys hit back by likening the songwriter to William Hung and a Justin Bieber wannabe.

“I saw you on YouTube, you had me in tears,” Nick Carter raps. “You covered Adele and Adele covered her ears.”

Not to be shown up, Puth responds to the Boy Band host, 37: “You look like David Beckham if he lived in his car.” He also calls the “I Want it That Way” crooners a group of “five Joey Fatones,” in reference to the ‘NYSNC member.

After four minutes of back and forth, hosts Method Man and Hailey Baldwin ask the crowd for their feedback in the form of applause before declaring the winner.

Also in tonight’s episode, the Pussycat Dolls’ Nicole Scherzinger challenges Get Out comedian Lil Rel Howery.

Drop the Mic airs Tuesdays at 10:30 pm E.T. on TBS.
