Entertainment TV 'Bachelor in Paradise' 's Ashley Iaconetti Cries (Again!) over Failed Relationship with Jared Haibon "I felt, to be honest, that I have experienced the perfect man before and he didn't want to be in a relationship with me," admits the reality star By Christina Dugan Ramirez Christina Dugan Ramirez Writer-Reporter, TV People Editorial Guidelines Published on August 25, 2016 11:45 AM Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Bob D'Amico/ABC via Getty Images Grab the tissues, Bachelor in Paradise‘s Ashley Iaconetti is feeling all the feels … again. In an exclusive sneak peek at Friday’s Million Dollar Matchmaker, Ashley I. (as Bachelor Nation knows her) sits down with Patti Stanger to discuss her bad dating habits, her history of going after the wrong men and just why her love life is always left in shambles. “I’ve got to teach you something – there is no perfect guy,” Stanger tells the serial sobber. “There’s the perfect guy for you.” In response, Iaconetti says, “I felt, to be honest, that I have experienced the perfect man before and he didn’t want to be in a relationship with me.” As fans know, Ashley is talking about Jared Haibon, and the reality star has been crying over her failed relationship with Haibon for … a very long time. Iaconetti, whose virginity has long been a topic of conversation, admits that she would’ve gone all the way with Haibon “within a couple months of commitment.” “It never got beyond second base,” she explains. “I would’ve been willing to go for more, but I just feel like he didn’t have the urge to want me physically more. I’m in the friend zone.” Stanger then asks the singleton if she ever asked him what went wrong. “He says it’s because he can’t imagine me not in his life,” says Iaconetti. “So if he were to date me and it didn’t go well, then I wouldn’t be in his life.” (Translation: “It’s not you, it’s me.”) “He wants to keep you as the best friend forever,” says Stanger. “You’re stuck. You’ve got to let go of thinking he’s the perfect guy for you, because he’s not.” Million Dollar Matchmaker airs on Fridays (10 p.m. ET) on WEtv.
