brightcove.createExperiences(); Well, that didn’t take long.

Just two episodes in to JoJo Fletcher‘s season of The Bachelorette, one man has already earned the much-coveted title of this season’s villain. That man is Chad Johnson.

He’s not very nice – even to JoJo. The other contestants hate him. Clearly, he’s not here to make friends. And apparently he’s going to bring the blood to The Bachelorette.

And those are just a few of the reasons why Chad is this season’s Olivia.

1. He’s not here to kiss up to JoJo.
If you couldn’t tell by the guys calling her “my queen” and making up songs (well, not so much songs as repeating her name over and over to the strum of a guitar) about her, JoJo is certainly not wanting for adoring attention on The Bachelorette. When the guys had to do a mock proposal to JoJo the ESPN group date, Chad was having none of it and delivered a lackluster proposal – and when JoJo called him out on it, he called her “naggy.” That’s one way to win her heart!

2. No one likes him.
For almost all the contestants on The Bachelorette, two things are true: They’re really into JoJo, and they hate Chad. In fact, despite that face that we’re only two weeks into the show, and the guys already seem to be more focused on the latter emotion, spending the bulk of their airtime discussing Chad’s bad attitude, untrustworthiness and general unpleasantness.

Well, except for Daniel, but he’s the guy who stripped down to his skivvies on night one. No one likes him either. (Except JoJo, it would seem since she gave both of these guys roses last night.)

3. There will be blood.
Literally. The most compelling moment of this season’s many teasers has been Chad’s hands, covered in blood. And when we say covered, we mean covered. This may just be the most gory season of The Bachelorette yet.

4. He’s not afraid of making threats.
In the season supertease, Chad famously tells Jordan that after this is all over, he’s going to find him, “go to his house.” All this led to a confrontation with host Chris Harrison that men in the house are “afraid for their lives.” JoJo, you may love a bad boy, but please, send the man home!

5. He insults the guys, too.
In Monday’s episode, Chad couldn’t stop talking about how lackluster he thinks his fellow contestants are. He questioned whether or not they’d ever been in relationship and if they’d ever even talked to a woman as beautiful as JoJo. When the guys threatened to gang up on him, he said, “It was like if the Care Bears surrounded you and told you they were going to kick your ass.”

5. JoJo actually seems to like him?

The guys may hate him, but for some reason, JoJo doesn’t. Even after he called her a nag, she still put him in second place for the group date’s “rose rankings.” In fact, they’ve shared lots of heart-to-heart chats – and of course, he ended last week with a rose.

And you know that JoJo liking him just makes the other guys hate him more.

6. He’s getting tons of screen time.
The show may be called The Bachelorette, but it might as well be called The Chad because that’s all people seem to be talking about is him. And if the trailer is any indication, that won’t be changing in the next few episodes.

The Bachelorette airs Mondays (8 p.m. ET) on ABC.
