Shawn Booth has a message for Nick Viall and it’s not what Bachelorette fans might expect.

Booth, 29, uploaded a video to his YouTube channel on Sunday directed at Viall, his former Bachelorette rival, asking him to put their differences aside and “come together for [a] very important cause”: men’s health.

In the video, Booth invites Viall, 35, to join his team for Movember, in which men donate money and grow out mustaches during the month of November to raise awareness and funds for men’s health issues including prostate cancer, testicular cancer and more.

“What’s up, Nick? I hope all is well,” Booth says in the video. “Obviously, the past is in the past and we’ve both moved on.”

Booth then asks Viall to join him in supporting the cause, which Booth says he is passionate about as prostate cancer has affected his family and “could easily affect” one of them in the future.

“It’s been a long time since everything happened, and we all moved on,” Booth told PEOPLE about inviting Viall to be on his fundraising team. “I think it’s been good to put our differences aside and get the spark going to get people talking about Movember.”

While he’s looking forward to supporting a good cause, Booth is a little nervous about actually growing out a mustache.

“I’m all about the beard, and I never go clean-shaven, so my mustache is terrible,” he says. “I’m just hoping that I can get a decent mustache by the end of the month. Maybe I’ll do some handle bars or Fu Manchu kind of deal.”

Booth’s fiancée Kaitlyn Bristowe is totally on board for his new look.

“I keep trying to cover his mouth and his beard and see what he’d look like with just a mustache, and I kind of dig it!” she told PEOPLE.

The two men made it to the final two on Bristowe’s season of The Bachelorette. Both of them got down on one knee on the season finale, but Bristowe accepted Booth’s proposal – making Viall a two-time runner-up on the hit ABC dating show.

Booth and Bristowe, 30, are still going strong.

Booth and Viall have openly expressed their dislike of one another and butted heads repeatedly on the show, but Booth is ready to turn a new leaf.

“I think that together we can have a huge impact and help change the face of men’s health,” Booth concluded in the video.
