JoJo Fletcher Makes Her Final Cuts Before 'Bachelorette' Hometowns – and Jordan Rodgers Dishes on NFL Star Brother Aaron

Fletcher narrowed it down to her final four on Monday's episode

brightcove.createExperiences(); It’s week 7 on The Bachelorette, and the hay is in the barn. Pun fully intended.

On Monday’s episode, JoJo Fletcher took her six remaining guys to the Argentinian countryside, ultimately sending two of them home and narrowing it down to the final four whose parents she’ll meet at hometowns next week.

Things were a little different this week: There were three one-on-one dates and one group date – except this time, there was only a rose up for grabs on the group date, and not the one-on-ones. Let’s begin.

ONE-ON-ONE WITH ALEX

Alex finally got his first one-on-one with JoJo. Thank God because we couldn’t listen to him bang on about being an underdog for another second.

JoJo and Alex got to drive out to the countryside together but the rest of the guys had to take a bus, so they decided to write a freestyle rap about it, and it was predictably awful.

The car ride between JoJo and Alex seemed kind of awkward and super friend-zoney, but they had Pringles, so it wasn’t all bad.

Alex: “I like those kind of trees. The one that’s like, droopy. Droopy trees.” Please, go on. Thrilling stuff.

They ended up at a local Argentinian ranch to learn how to be gauchos for the day. They both got dressed up in “gaucho attire,” which meant a beret for Alex and the chicest pair of suede bell-bottom pants for JoJo. Sucks to be Alex.

They got to watch a real-life gaucho do what gauchos do, which can truly only be described as horse-whispering. The horse was actually on the ground rolling around like a smitten puppy while JoJo and Alex got to lay down with it and snuggle it.

Alex to JoJo: “I’m your goocho.” (A for effort?)

Then it was time for them to sit around their untouched plates of food and drink wine, and that was when the date took a second unfortunate turn for Alex. (The first was the beret.)

As they got on the topic of the upcoming hometowns, Alex decided it was time for him to “let it all out there” and proceeded to profess his love to her.

JoJo was visibly really not into this and obviously did not feel the same way, but Alex, clearly lacking self-awareness, didn’t notice and went on and on and on.

Finally she interrupted him and was forced to bite the bullet right then and there and send him home.

Alex was super pissed and barely looked at her in the eyes as this whole cringe-worthy ordeal was going on. The whole awful goodbye was SO DRAWN OUT. The car could not have been farther away. (Why was the car so far away?!) They made them walk across the whole damn field together after she dumped him.

ONE-ON-ONE WITH JORDAN

Jordan always gets the best one-on-ones. Last time, he got to chill on a yacht and this time he got to fly to a winery on a private plane with JoJo.

Jordan and JoJo went to a vineyard and crushed grapes with their bare feet and then drank the juice. Not sure that’s exactly how wine works, but, hey, we don’t make the rules.

After all the strenuous wine-making and hot-tubbing, it was finally time for Jordan to open up about his family because everyone has been wondering what is up with him and his super famous brother Aaron Rodgers, a.k.a. professional NFL star and Green Bay Packers quarterback.

When JoJo asked who she would be meeting if she went to Jordan’s hometown, he pointedly told her his “middle brother” wouldn’t be there, to which JoJo feigned ignorance: “And that’s Aaron?” (Like, come on. You obviously know his brother’s name is Aaron. It’s all anyone has talked about this whole season.)

Jordan went on to reveal that the two don’t really have much of a relationship and that Aaron wasn’t even aware Jordan had gone on The Bachelorette. (It remains unclear whether Aaron doesn’t have a relationship with anyone in his family or if it’s just Jordan.)

“Like I said, I have a great relationship with my [oldest] brother Luke, me and Aaron don’t really have that much of a relationship,” he said. “It’s just kind of the way he’s chosen to do life and I chose to stay close with my family and my parents and my brother.”

“It’s not ideal,” he went on. “I love him and I can’t imagine what it’s like to be in his shoes and have the pressure he has and the demands from people that he has. Don’t have hard feelings against him, it’s just how things go right now.”

He explained that he always felt “disappointed” in himself growing up because he could never measure up to Aaron’s abilities.

“No matter what I did, it was never good enough for a coach or for a teammate, because I was being compared to someone who did it the best,” he said. “I could’ve kept playing, but football didn’t define me. Not having a great relationship with my brother Aaron, or what people think that relationship should be, didn’t define me. I’m defined by the character I have.”

Then he went ahead and dropped the big fat L-word on JoJo and did a couple hair swoops and all was right in the world again and these two are totally in lurve.

GROUP DATE WITH CHASE, JAMES AND ROBBY

It was pouring rain so instead of doing any outdoor activities, JoJo and her mantourage got a big hotel suite and decided to basically have a slumber party.

The slumber party included Robby streaking up and down the halls in his underwear, James stuffing his face with French fries and even a massage train.

James – who clearly has some insecurity issues – decided he was determined to get the rose and semi-jokingly tried to sabotage Robby by telling JoJo that Robby was apparently always checking out other women on the street.

Then they all lied down in bed together, which was just weird and looked every bit as uncomfortable as it probably was. They watched the Argentinian version of The Bachelor and James threw more shade at Robby.

Then JoJo had her one-on-one time with each of the guys, which was all fairly boring except for the fact that she found out from Robby that he had actually only just gotten out of his three-year relationship in December (meaning, just a few months before they started filming), but yet he still insisted he was over his ex and ready to be engaged to JoJo.

JoJo seemed kind of sketched out but obviously it wasn’t a deal-breaker because she ended up giving Robby the group date rose, automatically securing him a spot for hometowns next week. (James, predictably, was distraught.)

ONE-ON-ONE WITH LUKE/ROSE CEREMONY

The next morning, JoJo met up with Luke at another local ranch and spent the day riding horses and skeet shooting.

Luke is so manly, swoon, but sadly the whole date ended up getting cut short because JoJo decided not to have a cocktail party that evening, instead going straight into the rose ceremony.

When Chase and James found out there wasn’t going to a cocktail party, they understandably panicked because it was pretty obvious that one of them would be going home and it ended up being James.

JoJo cried. James cried. There was a lot of crying. We’ll just leave you with this.

As for next week? Looks like we’re not done hearing about Robby’s ex-girlfriend just yet

The Bachelorette airs Mondays (8 p.m. ET) on ABC.
