PEOPLE Exclusive: The Bachelor‘s Chris Soules and fiancée Whitney Bischoff open up about their small-town life together – and starting a family! Subscribe now for instant access to their plans for beating the odds and making love last.
Many viewers were shocked when Kaitlyn Bristowe was sent packing after Chris Soules romanced her during an overnight date in Bali – but there was one more twist after Soules handed out his final rose: The 29-year-old may be getting a second chance at love!
On the upcoming season of The Bachelorette, Bristowe and Britt Nilsson will both meet 25 eligible men, but only one woman will eventually be chosen (by those same men) to continue on with the season as the sole Bachelorette.
Although Bristowe told PEOPLE that the situation is “definitely not ideal,” she’s staying optimistic about the whole experience, calling it “an incredible opportunity.”
Here are five facts you should know about the blue-eyed beauty.
1. She’s an accomplished dancer, even earning a scholarship for her skills.
Currently a dance instructor, the Vancouver resident cites her biggest accomplishment as “getting a dance scholarship and moving out of my small town for it” on her ABC bio page.
2. She’s passionate about promoting confidence and self-acceptance through her work with RAW Beauty Talks.
The former Bachelor contestant showed her support for the organization – which aims to encourage women to speak openly about beauty and confidence while fighting the overuse of Photoshop in the media – by encouraging her Instagram followers to sign a Change.org petition asking magazines to reduce their use of Photoshop. “Let’s get real about what women look like for the next generation of girls,” she posted.

3. If she could change anything about herself, it would be her laugh!
Though she told Popsugar she found the sound of her own laugh annoying while watching back this season’s episodes, it’s not going to stop her from letting it out. “It sounds like a donkey or a hyena,” she told the site. “I’m perfectly fine with that because I’ll never hold back on laughter – it’s one of my favorite things to do.”
4. In addition to teaching dance, Bristowe is now also a certified spin instructor.
“I’m back in Vancouver, and I’ve taken a lot of time to hang out with family,” she told PEOPLE about what she’s been up to since filming The Bachelor. “I’ve gotten back into exercising and got my certificate to teach spin. I’ve just been slowly working my way back into reality.”
5. She had a Twitter love-fest with a very famous actress.
It’s not only former Bachelorettes who have voiced their adoration for Bristowe – Anna Kendrick is also a fan! During the Women Tell All special, the Pitch Perfect 2 star Tweeted, “Kaitlyn can do better. Like if my boyfriend left me for her, I’d get it.” Bristowe responded, “Can you leave him for me?” to which Kendrick replied with a GIF of an excitedly dancing Kermit the Frog.
