“Obviously, she’s a part of my life,” says the 32-year-old entertainment and sports consultant. “People have to know me and that I come with my little Camila. But I was very careful. She’s not going to watch the show, just her parts!”
As far as a physical type, Galavis, who was raised in Venezuela, says he’s “mostly” dated other Venezuelans. “My types are Latinas with dark hair,” he says. “But I’m open to everything. I love meeting new people.”
One quality the former professional soccer player is hoping for in a partner? Some rhythm. “If a girl is a good dancer, that’s a big attraction,” he says. “I’ve met all of my girlfriends on the dance floor!” As for the dealbreakers, “a drinking sloppy girl is no bueno, as Americans say,” says Galavis. “I don’t drink. I don’t like drunk people at all!”
But this devoted dad, who says he’s been ready to get married “for a long time,” does appreciate any time he can spend with Camila (whose mother is his ex-girlfriend, Carla Rodriguez).
“I’m trying to be the best dad that I can,” Galavis says. “Camila likes music. We sing in the car all the time. And I try to be a good example. If she doesn’t eat her food, she’s not having ice cream!”
That’s another thing – this Bachelor’s pick should be definitely be open to family. “I want to make sure I make the right decision, that she’s ‘The One,’ ” says Galavis. “And I want two more kids!”
Juan Pablo’s season of The Bachelor premieres Jan. 6 on ABC.
