He had really been verbally abusive to some of the staff, some of our crew and was rude to me.” According to the reality host, he wanted to give Johnson a “second chance” after his unflattering turn on JoJo Fletcher’s season. “He came back to Paradise, the first thing he did was, ‘Chris, I’m very sorry. I’m not that person. I’m back here to apologize to you, to the producers on my behavior.” But after seeing enough of Johnson’s antics, “I just made a decision like, ‘You know what? I’m done. You’re out.’ Again, that’s the beauty of the power I have here in paradise,” says Harrison. Even after all the drama, Harrison holds no ill will towards Johnson. “After he goes to a certain length, you see him get very sad and sorrowful and very apologetic,” says Harrison. “You can tell he doesn’t like that and he doesn’t want to be that person. Whether he found love or not, he just wasn’t ready.” So would he ever want Johnson back on another installment of Bachelor? “I welcome him back,” says Harrison. “I don’t dislike the guy at all even though he said some really bad things.” Bachelor in Paradise airs Mondays and Tuesdays (8 p.m. ET) on ABC.
