His volatile flirtation with Lace was just the start!
Although Chad Johnson‘s seduction scheme didn’t quite go as planned, he had plenty of other prospects for the future.
After The Bachelorette bad boy’s disastrously drunken first night on Bachelor In Paradise, host Chris Harrison was forced to send him home early, leaving at least one unanswered question: Who would he have hit on next?
Johnson tells PEOPLE he definitely had a shortlist of women to pursue after his volatile hookup with Bachelor lightning rod Lace Morris.
“I thought Lace was hot,” he says. “She’s the only other person here who probably doesn’t care what the cameras think. I thought she was slightly crazy, but fun-crazy – she turned out to be legit crazy.”
Johnson was keen on another woman from Ben Higgins‘ season: “Amanda Stanton, I was interested in her.” (We’ll consider that bullet dodged for the single mom, who was flirting with fellow Bachelorette villain Nick Viall as of the season premiere.)

He continues, “Then the twins [Haley and Emily Ferguson] – but how do you decide which one? They’re always doing everything together.”
At the end of the day, “The Chad,” of course, ultimately had to scrap his plans when his tenure on the show was cut short.
Ladies of the real world, he’s all yours!
Bachelor in Paradise airs Mondays and Tuesdays (8 p.m. ET) on ABC.
