Sonja Morgan says she isn’t surprised at her costar Kristen Taekman‘s husband’s Ashley Madison scandal.

“I could see it coming,” Morgan recently told the New York Post‘s Page Six. “I didn’t like the way he was treating her. He chipped away at her self-esteem.”

The Real Housewives of New York City star Taekman’s husband Josh admitted on Aug. 24 that he had an account on Ashley Madison, a website that facilitates extramarital affairs, though he denied he actually cheated.

“I signed up for this site foolishly and ignorantly with a group of friends and I deeply apologized for any embarrassment or pain I have brought to my wife and family,” he told PEOPLE in a statement.

“We both look forward to moving past this and getting on with our lives,” Josh added in his statement.

According to Page Six, Morgan said she was “trying to empower [Taekman], but she “didn’t take” Morgan’s advice.
