Ariel Winter and Sarah Hyland play sisters on Modern Family and are nearly as close off-screen. So would the two actresses consider a double date with Winter’s boyfriend Levi Meaden and Hyland’s beau Wells Adams?

“That would be pretty fun,” Winter, 19, told Entertainment Tonight from the set of her ABC show’s 200th episode celebration in Los Angeles on Wednesday. “I’d love it.”

Hyland, 26, seems to be down with it too — though she’s taking a little time to introduce Adams, a Bachelorette alum, to her TV tribe.

“These people have become my real-life family. It’s almost like, you gotta,” Hyland said. “Like, for guys, you have to meet the parents, which is stressful. But then I think the more stressful thing is to meet the second family, which is not only the Dunphy family but the entire cast, and the entire crew and all of our writers, and everybody that’s involved.”

She added, “That’s the second family that I think is the most terrifying thing for guys that I date.”

Julie Bowen, who plays Hyland’s TV mother, may not have met Adams yet but she told ET she “thought he was cute.”

“She just showed me pictures and the original sort of flirty texts that were very sweet,” Bowen revealed. “And there was nothing naked about them so… I’m a little old fashioned and I liked that. I was like, ‘Ooh I like this.’ Because sometimes these days when somebody shows you their phone you’re like, ‘Ahhh!’ … This was just normal and cute, and I liked it.”

Winter, meanwhile, has introduced Meaden to her costars. And though they’ve been dating for a year, Winter says she “definitely” still gets butterflies.

“I knew there was something about him from the moment I met him, honestly,” she said. “It was like I met him, and I thought to myself, ‘I don’t know what it is, but there’s something about him that’s so interesting and maybe it will be nothing and maybe it will be something. But there’s something here.’ And it turns out it was a big something.”

Modern Family airs Wednesdays (9 p.m. ET) on ABC.
