Anne Hathaway is already a Lip Sync Battle victor, but who knew she could actually throw down some rhymes?

In a segment of the Late Late Show called “Drop the Mic,” Hathaway, 33, faced off against host James Corden in a rap battle. Neither of them held back.

Corden came out swinging, mocking Hathaway’s box-office failures and “good girl” reputation.

“I admit that Anne is both talented and sweet, and it’s hard to say anything about her that’s mean, but I’m gonna try my best and air it out like tank tops, and like her movie Get Smart, her rhymes are gonna flop,” Corden rapped.

“Now it’s her turn to try and act a little scary, ’cause the only Catwoman I acknowledge is Halle Berry,” he continued to a huge reaction from the crowd.

The Alice Through the Looking Glass star wasted no time returning the favor. Hathaway kicked off her heels before calling Corden out for his low ratings.

“A Catwoman woman diss? Gosh, what do I do? I can’t make fun of you James, ’cause no one’s heard of you,” Hathaway responded. “Now that I finally have a chance to speak, I saw your rhymes are like your ratings, damn, they’re incredibly weak.”

She even told Corden, “I’m like your wife: I watch Seth Meyers instead.”

The two continued trading insults, including Corden dissing Hathaway’s British accent and Hathaway making a comment about Corden’s suit being too small.

Hathaway finished off the battle with a message to Corden and her “Hathahaters.”

“I heard everything man, and none of it broke me,” the new mom rapped. “I battle with love and joy, so I am always unafraid. But son, now you know how it feels to get Hatha-slayed.”

Hathaway was crowned the winner by the crowd’s cheers, and the two competitors embraced – no hard feelings.
