The odds were in her favor!
The spin on the violent game of chance involves eight hard boiled, and four raw eggs. Fallon and Kendrick took turns choosing eggs from a carton, and then ceremoniously cracking them against their heads. The first contestant to smash two raw eggs loses the game.
The Pitch Perfect 2 actress, donning a sparkly black jumpsuit, survived her first three rounds clean, but Fallon wasn’t as lucky, yoke dribbling down his face early in the game.
“It’s fine, it’s fine, eggs a natural conditioner, I’m not even mad,” the 29-year-old joked when she encountered her first raw egg.
The tension was palpable as only three cooked eggs and two raw remained, but Kendrick still walked away with a win as Fallon smashed yet another raw egg over his noggin.
The Tonight Show airs at 11.30 p.m. on NBC.
