brightcove.createExperiences(); Anna Duggar is opening up about an emotional visit to see her husband Josh Duggar in rehab.

Anna, 27, spoke at a Duggar family gathering in Tuesday’s premiere of Jill and Jessa: Counting On, where she told the family about a recent trip to visit her husband at a Rockford, Illinois facility.

“He loves each one of you guys very much and is just really grateful for a family that’s willing to talk straight and to grieve when you’ve fallen, but also to love and forgive and have hope,” a tearful Anna told the Duggars in footage shot last year during the holidays. “So I look forward to seeing what God has [in store for] the future.”

Josh, 28, checked into a faith-based rehab facility in August after he admitted to cheating on Anna and having an addiction to pornography. He left the Illinois rehab facility last week.

“This visit was great because it definitely gives a lot of hope, but also the weight of everything is there and so it definitely drives me deeper to my faith,” Anna told the camera on Counting On. “God’s grace can give me the strength to love Josh when others would say he doesn’t deserve it.”

Ahead of her visit to see Josh, Anna admitted to the cameras that the cheating scandal had taken its toll on her.

“It was just like feeling like your world just instantly shattered,” Anna said.

The Duggars recently opened up to PEOPLE about life after scandal.

“I definitely have forgiven Josh. It is a process, though, that you have to work through in your heart,” Josh’s sister Jessa (Duggar) Seewald told PEOPLE exclusively. “And trust is not quickly rebuilt. It is something that takes a while. We love him very much, though, and we are very hopeful for the future.”

Counting On airs Tuesdays (9 p.m. ET) on TLC.
