After two years together, Amy Poehler and Nick Kroll have gone their separate ways, a source confirms to PEOPLE.

The news caps off a gloomy summer of one relationship demise after another. But fans of Poehler and Kroll can be comforted in knowing they’ll always have these hilarious, raunchy (and therefore NSFW) scenes of them together to look back on.

Kroll appeared on Parks and Recreation as The Douche (née Howard Tuttleman), a potty-mouthed shock-jock who caused Leslie Knope (Poehler) a lot of headaches. The actress reciprocated by guest-starring on his sketch comedy series Kroll Show in 2014.

The Douche and his equally immature co-host Crazy Ira (Matt Besser) first appeared in the season 3 episode “Media Blitz.” Desperately trying to promote their Harvest Festival project, Leslie and state auditor Ben Wyatt (Adam Scott) went on The Douche’s radio show. But Ira and The Douche had little interest in talking about the festival and spent the interview mocking Ben’s failed teenage attempt as mayor of “Ice Town.”

In this deleted scene from the episode, The Douche showed off his trademark misogyny and tried to force Knope to repeat a foul slogan or be punished in the “spank chair”.

Later in the season, Leslie was disturbed when her BFF Ann Perkins (Rashida Jones) partied and flirted with The Douche instead of studying for a job opportunity she had arranged for her. The Douche jumped into their conversation, asking if “there is enough room for some mayonnaise in this lady sandwich.”

In season 5, The Douche popped up again when Ann considered him as a potential sperm donor (yes, really). When he used Ann’s quest as a comedy gold mine for his show, Leslie returned to the studio to defend her friend. Somehow, The Douche convinced Leslie to get into a tub of Jell-O in exchange for laying off on the Ann jokes.

Kroll made his last appearance on Parks and Recreation in season 6’s “New Slogan.” When Leslie organized an online poll to pick a new town slogan, Crazy Ira and The Douche rallied their foul fans to vote “Welcome to Douche Nation” to the top. Lucky for the Pawnee, Leslie used her civil servant magic to avoid it becoming the official town slogan. But first, she naively tried to change the hearts of Douche Nation by going on the show yet again, this time disguised as a chill bro in a backwards baseball hat and baggy t-shirt.

When Poehler appeared on Kroll Show, she played a character who couldn’t have been more different from Leslie Knope. Spoiled “Rich Dicks” duo Wendy (Jon Daly) and Aspen (Kroll) were staples on the series. In season 2, Poehler joined them as Wendy’s sister Winnie, who changed her name to Heath. Winnie/Heath and Aspen had the least romantic love scene of all time, during which Wendy nonchalantly burst in to delivery the news that Grampy Goobie was knocking on death’s door and in need of memorializing.

Eventually, Wendy and Winnie put together a “YouTubeulogy” for Grampy Goopie, complete with a blooper reel.

Heath appeared again in a “PubLIZity” segment to promote her new line of snack food-inspired purses. Katy Perry and Laura Dern also showed up on the red carpet with Poehler and Kroll.
