When American Idol winner Trent Harmon isn’t busy making his own music, he’s lending his voice to fun projects like movie soundtracks!

Harmon recently recorded a bonus track for the digital version of the Ice Age: Collision Course soundtrack and PEOPLE has your exclusive first listen of the song: a cover of Gary Wright’s hit “Dream Weaver.”

“Working with the producer of the song, Ross Copperman, was super fun,” Harmon tells PEOPLE. “We listened to the original ‘Dream Weaver’ a couple of times, but didn’t want to over listen to it – so we left room for our own creativity. As soon as I heard the final arrangement, I knew it was going to be a fun day. I am so happy with how it turned out.”
