Just two days into filming the upcoming season of American Idol, Mariah Carey laughed off reports of a feud with fellow new judge Nicki Minaj, who also said that everything was "wonderful, darling."

What a difference two weeks makes!

In a video posted on, Minaj is seen and heard yelling at Carey, who seems to be talking back – but in a quieter voice. Though it’s hard to tell what they are saying in the fuzzy footage from the Charlotte, N.C., set, one thing is for sure – Minaj has been repeatedly bleeped out.

According to TMZ, Minaj says, “Don’t lose your head. Don’t lose your head … Don’t tell me I’m a gangster,” and, “I’m not f–––in’ putting up with her f–––ing highness over there. Figure it the f––– out.”

The site also reports that producers ended auditions for the day to let the on-set drama cool down. Could this feud be for real? Or for publicity?

Neither judge has said anything about the video on Twitter, though host Ryan Seacrest Tweeted Tuesday, “Going to bed in Charlotte after an anything but dull day at #idol auditions.”

Fox has no comment.
