Looks like things could be getting pretty weird on American Idol.

Shortly after reporting that Adam Lambert might be replacing Jennifer Lopez as a judge on the show, E! News announced Monday that Idol producers might also be considering Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Fergie, Katy Perry, and for the high-profile gig.

“There are going to be lots of names coming up now,” Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe told CNN. “Everything’s still up in the air, I have to say. Nothing is confirmed. Hopefully, I’m going to push for Charlie Sheen and Jerry Lewis as judges on American Idol. I’m not sure how far I’ll get with that, but I think that would be fun.”

Perry has already turned down the gig, telling the Hollywood Reporter that the spot is “not right” for her.

As for the others, it’s a crap-shoot.

Minaj has certainly expressed interest in the show before. In March, the guest judge sparked rumors of a feud with Lopez when Minaj asked her to “scoot over a little bit” and make room for her at the judges’ table. Lopez, unfazed, shot back: “I don’t know if there’s enough room for both of us.”
