Twelve years ago, Kelly Clarkson was crowned the first American Idol.

Now, the journey starts all over again for thousands of singers who hope they have what it takes to become the 13th winner of the Fox singing competition.

This season marks the return of Jennifer Lopez, who had a "transformative year" away from the competition, and the addition of Harry Connick, Jr.

The two will be sitting alongside Keith Urban, who was a fan favorite on the panel last season for dealing with feuding judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj with grace and humor.

On Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. E.T./5:30 p.m. P.T., the judges will join host Ryan Seacrest for a live Q&A at UCLA to answer fan questions about the upcoming season, which premieres Wednesday night on Fox.

Questions may be submitted via Twitter with the hashtag #askIDOL, and a live feed of the Q&A will appear below.
