Cook, 23, is known to Idol fans for her quirky image and accordion-accompanied performances but on Thursday night the Woodbridge, Virginia, native wowed the crowd with her own rendition of the Aussie rapper’s hit song. Based on an arrangement by Postmodern Jukebox, blue-haired Cook wowed the crowd with her performance and had judge Jennifer Lopez dancing in her seat. Meet the American Idol Top 12 By the end of the number, judge Keith Urban was on his feet and even the harshest critic on the judges’ panel, Harry Connick, Jr., gave the performance an “A-plus.” “I feel so good about it,” Cook said after hearing the judges’s feedback. “I love that song.” So did we.
