It’s presidential election season, but right now Kelly Clarkson is focusing on who she’s going to vote for to become the fifteenth (and final) American Idol.

“I have never voted for anyone on @AmericanIdol not even 4 myself BUT I will be voting for @laporsharenae tonight. I need her future record!” Idol‘s inaugural winner tweeted during the performance finale Tuesday.

Clarkson first gave a shout out to La’Porsha Renae earlier in the night after Renae, who is the last woman standing for season 15, said a woman was going to win.

“Yes ma’am @laporsharenae you are right! A woman started it and a woman’s gonna finish it!! Can’t wait to watch you win!! #youareblessed,” tweeted.

Clarkson guest-judged on Idol for the first time earlier this season and will be featured during the star-studded series finale on Thursday (at 8 p.m. ET) on FOX.
