Sarah Paulson – who has earned two Emmy nominations for her work on the past four seasons of the FX anthology series – has joined the cast of season 5. “She’s the baddest girl of them all,” AHS creator Ryan Murphy tweeted of Paulson’s character on Monday. Paulson, 40, joins Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer and her fellow AHS alum Kathy Bates on the upcoming season. “It doesn’t get stale,” Paulson has told PEOPLE of working on AHS. “It’s a very exciting way to work. I’d love to be on a TV show for seven years, but putting on the same suit every day for seven years might piss me off. I could never have dreamed up the characters I’ve played on this.” American Horror Story: Hotel is open for business this October on FX. RELATED: What Scares American Horror Story‘s Evan Peters?
