VH1 announced Tuesday that the model, author and feminist activist – whose candid chat with PEOPLE features in this week’s issue, on newsstands Friday – has landed a weekly talk show that will take on pop culture hot topics and feature celebrity interviews. “I am very excited to be joining forces with such an amazing network to deliver a fresh perspective on the primetime talk show,” said Rose, 32, in a press release. She promised to “break all the rules and redefine late-night,” before adding, “Watch out [Jimmy] Fallon, here comes MUVA!” Dr. Phil McGraw is producing the show alongside his son Jay and their Stage 29 Productions. VH1 General Manager Chris McCarthy said in the release: “Amber has inspired millions of young women by overcoming homelessness to become a wildly successful entrepreneur. A true multi-hyphenate, she is a devoted mother, a strong advocate for women’s rights and a celebrated author all of which make her an ideal host. Amber is a perfect addition to the VH1 family because our audience is interested in hearing unique perspectives from those who are unapologetically themselves and not afraid to take a stand on issues they are passionate about.” Rose’s as-yet-untitled show is slated to premiere this summer on VH1.
