Teen Mom OG's Amber Portwood Gets Restraining Order Against Ex Andrew Glennon amid Custody Battle

Amber Portwood has been granted a restraining order against ex Andrew Glennon amid the pair's custody battle after filing in December, PEOPLE confirms.
According to online court records in Indiana's Marion County, the order was issued on Monday, Jan. 11 for "preventing interference with respondent's parenting time." Portwood and Glennon share a son, 2½-year-old James. Another hearing relating to the order is set for Tuesday, Jan. 19.
A rep for Portwood did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment. PEOPLE is out to Glennon for comment.
The Teen Mom OG star, 30, recently claimed that Glennon refused to let her see James the week of Christmas, according to court documents obtained by The Sun. The outlet reports that Glennon was traveling with James during Portwood's previously scheduled visiting time.
In the filing, she requested that the time she lost with her son be "made up" in the future and that Glennon pay her attorney's fees, according to The Sun.
The custody dispute follows other legal troubles for Portwood, who was arrested in July 2019 after allegedly attacking Glennon while he was holding their son.
The day after the incident, Portwood was charged with domestic battery, criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon and domestic battery committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old. Glennon filed for custody of James shortly after her arrest.
Portwood's plea hearing took place on Oct. 31, 2019. Though MTV cameras were not allowed inside the courtroom, they did capture Portwood heading in with her ex-boyfriend, Gary Shirley, and his wife, Kristina. Portwood and Gary share 12-year-old daughter Leah.
Glennon's victim statement was heard through audio in the episode while showing a courtroom caricature of him and Portwood.
"That night was one of the scariest nights of my life and my mind replays the moments to no end. When I begged you to please stop shouting in front of our infant and your reply was, 'It doesn't matter, he's just a baby,'" Glennon said. "Be a mother for once in your life."
During an episode of Teen Mom OG in April 2020, Portwood opened up about how it felt to reach a plea deal in the domestic battery case.
"I just want it done," Portwood told an MTV producer. "I'm so adamant on, 'Please, just get this done.' None of this is a victory. This has all been hell."
