It’s getting closer!

As excitement mounts for Peter Pan Live!, new artwork has been released for the holiday musical event airing on NBC on Dec. 4.

Allison Williams, who plays the title character, is front and center with a mischievous grin as she flies high into the night sky, a bit of pixie dust swirling around her.

Captain Hook, played by Christopher Walken, lurks above her, the hook gleaming.

Williams began flight training for the role in August, and tells PEOPLE that flying through the air is “about as fun as you can imagine.”

She admits that the harness mechanism “becomes uncomfortable really quickly, but that first moment when you are lifted off the ground is just utter bliss. It’s a shame we were not built to be airborne.”

The Girls star has used her Instagram account to document her transformation into the character.

She even shared a photo of herself as a toddler in a Pan costume. “I have wanted to play Peter Pan since I was about 3 years old, so this is a dream come true,” Williams said in the caption.
