"She's awesome," Roberto Martinez says of his Bachelorette bride-to-be
They haven’t publicly announced a wedding date, but Bachelorette couple Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez can’t hold back their excitement about tying the knot.
“We want to get married!” Fedotowsky told PEOPLE Saturday at Reality Rocks in Los Angeles. “We don’t feel pressured at all. We just want it to happen.”
And it doesn’t hurt that Fedotowsky isn’t being a diva about the wedding planning process.
“She’s not a bridezilla, thank god,” Martinez says. “I’d be scared to death if she was, but no, she’s awesome.”
Fedotowsky, who says she and Martinez have been sharing wedding duties equally, explains that the couple’s relationship has evolved over time.
“We’re really growing together now,” she says. “Before, it was two separate lives coming together. Now it’s one life together. We just adjusted. We’re finally living near the beach. We love our place.”
And while the engaged duo remains mum about specific wedding plans, they’re not shy about where they want to live once they say “I do.”
“We think we’ll want a parent to be a babysitter whenever we need them, so maybe we’ll move back to Florida,” Fedotowsky says about her significant other’s home state. “It’s definitely an option, I think. But my mom also said she’d be willing to move out to California, so we shall see.”
