The New Love Guru? Alec Baldwin Surprises Young Couple with Relationship Advice During Limo Ride
The segment appears on Thursday's Rachel Dratch's Late Night Snack
Has Alec Baldwin found a new calling as a couples counselor?
In an exclusive clip from Thursday’s Rachel Dratch’s Late Night Snack, Baldwin surprises a young couple in a limo with some relationship advice.
“I’m sorry. I’m so starstruck right now,” says Jesus, after saying a curse word when he sees the 30 Rock star sitting across from him.
His partner Marlene, 18, explains the couple has been together two years and live together under a domestic partnership.
Baldwin, feigning confusion, says he thought a domestic partnership was “where you could sleep with her before she’s old enough.”
The couple laughs and explains what it really means.
“It’s kind of a me and her thing. No matter what happened – say we go to a shelter system, we can’t split,” says Jesus.
“You love him so much, you were going to go to a shelter?” asks Balwin.
Comedian Jim Gaffigan also helps Baldwin out, showing up to interview the couple about their dreams. Jesus reveals he wants to be a comedian, and Marlene says she wants to be a business owner. She goes on to admit that she gets bothered by Jesus’ jealousy – such as when he gets angry when men catcall her.
“You should give him a lot of credit,” says Gaffigan, noting men learn to control their tempers as they get older. “It only gets better. We only tend to figure it out.”
