With The Avengers: Age of Ultron set to hit theaters in just one month, Marvel is throwing back to Captain America: The Winter Soldier in Tuesday’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

“One Door Closes” flashes back to the day that S.H.I.E.L.D. fell, as seen in Cap 2. As it turns out, Bobbi (Adrianne Palicki) were tangentially involved in the melee that day, along with Mack (Henry Simmons) and Isabelle (Lucy Lawless). On an aircraft carrier, they encounter Agent Robert Gonzales (Edward James Olmos) – another familiar face from the S.H.I.E.L.D. universe who revealed in a previous episode that Isabelle had saved his life on that very carrier.

Agent Gonzales is the one who reformed S.H.I.E.L.D. following the events of Winter Soldier, not to mention the person who directed Bobbi, Mack and Anne (Christine Adams) to join Coulson’s (Clark Gregg) band of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents in order to gather intel on what he felt was an untrustworthy leadership based on Nick Fury’s tendency toward secrets and lies.

The episode also follows Skye’s (Chloe Bennet) continued struggle to control her new abilities as well as the ramifications of Bobbi’s betrayal on Coulson’s inner circle.

But, like any well-rounded Marvel nerd, you know you’ll mostly be watching for the MCU tie-in.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Tuesdays (9 p.m. ET) on ABC.
