Adrienne Bailon Is 'at Peace' After Ending Engagement
The co-host of The Real announced on Sept. 16 that her engagement to Roc Nation exec Lenny Santiago was over
On the real, Adrienne Bailon is a very strong woman.
On Sept. 16, the talk show host, 31, announced she and her former fiancé, Roc Nation executive Lenny Santiago, had decided to end their seven-month engagement. Bailon said it’s a decision that “sits well with her heart.”
“I’m happy, I’m at peace,” she told PEOPLE at the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride VIP Black Carpet on Sunday night about the end of an era after dating Santiago, 44, for six years. “I think when you make a decision that sits well with your heart, you feel good about that.”
She continues, “I’m in a super happy place and I think that was important for me get across that I’m in a happy place.”
Bailon revealed the news on during her show The Real, surrounded by some of her best friends – her co-hosts.
“Through the summer, I went on my little Eat Pray Love journey, and it was a time for me to come to terms with my own truth and my honesty, and I am not engaged anymore, and we’re in a good place,” she said in a clip. “It’s not an ‘aw’ thing, I promise you. We’re gonna be great friends forever, and I think it was a hard decision to make when you’re with somebody for such a long time.”

While there has been question as to if she and ex-boyfriend Rob Kardashian – whom she dated from 2007 to 2009 – will rekindle their flame, Bailon said she hasn’t spoken to him in some time now.
“I haven’t [spoken to him lately], but I wish him well,” she said.
